Losing a sister

This is a very hard thing to do…to admit we need help and that Sarah is getting so much worse instead of better. As a sister to someone who is chronically ill, its heartbreaking. It is also frustrating, The amount of time, effort and money that we have spent trying to get Sarah better is exorbitant. She’s not alone. There are so many like her. They are often called the “missing millions”. They don’t have the energy or the cognitive ability to advocate for themselves. Their carers are just surviving themselves. Watching their loved ones fade away.

The system is letting these people down so badly.

So we have to take drastic action, and while there are many in Sarah’s situation, we first need to get her better. We have tried everything. This is our last resort.

Please give generously. It’s literally life or death.
